Very interesting! A KGV-based hybrid, or a creation of your own?
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Nice KGV-Bash, man!  Way to go!  Interesting with the 5.25's along the carrier deck section, looking forward to more of that.  HMNS?  Not sure where that would be, but she looks beautiful.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

Looking great - what aircraft would you be planning for it?

its based on a real proposal from 1939 for a hybrid  to be used as a super destroyer for fleet reconance using a light aircraft based on a swordfish.
as this is set in 1958 it will be carrying  sea furys and helicopters only as the deck is not long enough for jets to land, some of the piolts say it rather short for the fury even with the ramp.

It may be too late for your model, but by 1958 the light AA would have been gone from atop turret B, so you could lower that takeoff angle, unless that's part of the design?

Nice work all around!   I hope your hand isn't sore from sanding that putty.  ;D
What helos are you planning to put on board?
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

I'm with Sauragnmon, what is this HMNS of which you speak? Her Magesty's Northumbrian Ship? His Munificence's Nude Sunbather? Harrold Murgatroyd's National Scheme? It's not New Zealand ship, that's HMNZS... (cause, you know, the Kiwis like to have more letters infront of thier ships than anyone else!)
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

As some of you have guest the ships are from my patchwork world Royal Northumbria Navy.
Thinks about it your right about the guns so they will come off but the ramp will stay as it part of the design of the flight deck.
here is the real world design i used as the inspiration for this build
