Thanks for the compliments everyone! Much appreciated! Forgot to mention it was all hand painted with various companies acryllics and most of the windows are that Krystal Klear stuff. Think I might try a Mercenary/Bounty Hunter seaplane to try catching the guys flying this one.
Pyro, hope to see your plane when it's finished!

This is cutting edge, GD!  Love the overall effect.  Where is Radish?  He'd love this baby.

Here be me Sky Pirates Floaty Thing! Thanks to Doc Yo's idea I made some big guns from plastic tube. I made three but one fell in side and is now....err... safely stowed in the overhead storage rack!(along with a .50 calibre that also got stuck stored inside.) :banghead:
On to some pics. Overhead shot.

Front left shot.

And a closer front shot. Give 'em a broadside me hearties...Arrgghhh!

Hope you like it, was great fun to build as I haven't done a kitbash in about ten years! Loads more fun than following instructions!
I did make some Torpedoes but I figured it would be too much overkill and left them off. The new guns are about 2mm calibre so I think (when scaled up) they should be 144mm, close to five and three quarter inches!

Hi am notably many years late. But am truly intrigued by this build. Am an ardent Floatplane & Flying boat fan. Just would like to know how would it be possible for me to see the pics of your build?

You've got almost zero chance of seeing those pics I'm afraid, unless Green Dragon comes on and has some archived away. They're Photobucket pics from a LONG time ago and are almost certainly not available any more.

I'd be pleased to be proved wrong though.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
