Here are a few pics of some of the figures and ground equipment I have been working on.

Here are the 1/48 scale figures, the one in the black coat I tried to make look like Adolf Galland.
Notice the varnished wooden toolbox of the aircraft mechanic, I like how that turned out and is the best fake wood grained effect I have done yet.

Here is the finished 1/72 scale bomb cart and the W.I.P. pic of the Schwimmwagon.

Another shot of the Schwimmwagon...notice the wood grain effect on the oar and shovel handle, it was not easy to paint these!

Hey Matrix,
Nice work on the figures. Actually painting that group of three myself for the 109X dio. I`ve done the pilot in lightweight flying suit and the guy helping him  and I think I`m getting hooked on these IBM sets. This is the second set I`ve tried, the first being the USAAF ones on the Croat 109G-10 dio, and I`m finding it so nice to just build, clean up and paint rather than hours of conversion. A small point, the figure in the brown short jacket. The lower edge is the hem line of his tunic jacket and should be in a similar colour to the trousers.  This aside I can see I`m gonna have to `up my game` in the dio stakes.  ;D
Will follow with great interest.

Looks like Galland to me - fantastic stuff
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks for the comments Greg, Gary, and NARSES2,

Gary,
You are right about the figure in the brown jacket having a painting error, I just looked at the painting guide again and I had it all wrong but its an easy fix. I have two other figure sets to build and paint but will save them for later but you can be sure when I paint them I will pay more attention to the painting guide! ;D
BTW, I just got a new book on German WWII armor titled ''Standard Catalog of German Military Vehicles'' and I won't have time today to read much of it but I thumbed through it and spotted some Opel Blitz trucks and Kettenkraftrads with some interesting camouflage patterns, these pictures will be very useful when I build my 1/32 and 1/35 scale Opel Blitz trucks and my other Tamiya Kettenkraftrads.

Hi`s Again,

Found these on my `puter. There not that great, it was a cold wet 3rd January 2005 in a dark hanger at Duxford here in the UK. My birthday treat to myself. Don`t know why its in red, it was so cold the staff were all in hiding somewhere warm , so no one to ask. Come to think of it I could`ve gone under the rope and pictured the other side.  ;D

Some of the details here might help.

Thanks for posting the pics, the Kettenkraftrad is of course interesting but I think that is a German halftrack in the background in what looks like original paint which is even more interesting!

These are the only other pics that have the 1/2track in. I tend to have a one track mind and at the time was probably only interested in light vehicles for dio`s. Must let my feminine side show and multitask more.

Other pics of non standard movers

A bren/universal carrier, a polish tankette and as per caption.

Finaly a coule of interesting vehicle pics. What they are, no idea, but they might give a general `feel` of the thing.

Hope these are of some use.

Gary,
Thanks a bunch for those pics!
That half track looks very cool and I love the Schwimmwagon, what an interesting little vehicle. I might have to get a larger 1/35 scale model of it and build it one of these days, the 1/72 scale Academy kit is okay but is too small to have much detail. Even in 1/35 scale that Schwimmwagon would still not take up much shelf space.
