Very nice !!  Painted in white it doesn't look so 'pointy' as it does when painted in black like Tuck' model

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Interesting that the airbrakes are very slighty open, handy when building the kit.
Thanks for sharing the photos Joe.

dambuster

Hard to be certain but it doesn't appear to have the modified undercarriage struts.  Can anyone confirm this?

TsrJoe

the undercarriage dampening struts werent fitted til later in the programme XR.220 had tempoary ones for its intended first flight and XR219 was undergoing modification at the time of cancellation. The ones fitted to XR220 at Cosford are i think the intended final fix for production airframes? (the initial ones fitted being non retractable for runway oscillation testing)

no basis in reality whatsoever and to any such fanboy wet dream group id have to say total bs, why would anyone want to anyway when we cant even keep the last Vulcan flying  :banghead: (it also belongs to the RAF. Museum who would never release it even if it was in a usable condition which it is not by any means!)

hmm just 3 OBVIOUS problems ...

trained flight crew ??
suitable engines ??
unsuitable and non maintained airframe
