I'd send this person an invite, but my Japanese is non-existent.

Neither do I speak Japanese , but I did went around a bit in the web adress and found a few things like that and that thing   . I don't have the slightest idea what it is but it sure looks interesting . While that cobra mod is sure to beat anything else in nap of earth flying .A warning , it appears the site is  not workplace safe .

If I'm not mistaken, that thing is one of the fighters from the anime SuperSylph Yukikaze.  That Cobra Transformer is a work of art, surely.

The site looks like the Japanese equivalent of us, basically. Or at least a general hobbyists' site, not dedicated to one person's particular works. As for the not workplace safe thing, well...all I can say is that the modeling of young nude girls is a rather, um, expansive hobby that isn't looked at any differently than the modeling of other military figures, or at least wouldn't be considered any more socially unusual than the modeling of erotic but clothed female military figures...I guess?

This is why, in the particular circle of interests I hang out with, we have a saying: lol, Japan
It's a crappy self-made pic of a Lockheed Unmanned Combat Armed Rotorcraft (UCAR), BTW

Thanks to Jschmus for the ID , and for the warning , well , not that I would be afraid of a plastic girl 15 centimeters long , but it is just a precaution . Courts in my country are famous for banning sites found in random or tipped off checks ; if this site goes down for local access , I would hate it happening  because I gave a link that led to plastic nudity .

I remember seeing American Secret Project quoting a Vought staff that the F7U-3 has a higher-mounted cockpit to address poor visibility during landing- if that's the case, would a pilot periscope have been an alternative as well?

(Not that I thought the F7U-3 was in any way ugly though.)

(I also began to wonder what what-if potential the tri-jet V-346C configuration would have with the J46, but that is of course the hindsight of the J46 not living up to its promise.)
