The Stuka-wing float plane is a very cool design. Did anyone ever build a model?

Only Bellanca. ;)

Nice pic, it looks like a 1:1 scale "what-if". Maybe if I did a search here, I'd find a Stuka float plane has already been done.

The Tillamook Air Museum (in the surviving airship hangar at Tillamook, Oregon) has a flyable Bellanca Aircrruiser,
not on floats alas but its skis are with the aircraft, and it is a very cool machine to see in person.

Bellanca also built a twin-engine bomber/transport, the Model 77-140, based on the Aircruiser/Airbus:

Ungainly but with a certain level of cool. :)
Columbia bought a few.

Apologies for the thread hijack.
