i decided i would give this group build a go  ;D
i have been planning to build a UH-145 for some time now.

this will be an armed military version of the EC-145 with weapons from a revell A-109KM kit (2 rocket pods and 2 gun pods) and waybe a machine gun in the door.
this would be a battlefield armed support helicopter. in an alternative history, Flanders would have 8 of these, with 6 able to be configured as an armed reccon/anti-tank version.

all i still have to do is order the darn thing

This is even more of a whiff than you might've thought.  As of December, the US Army ARH program has been suspended.

I think you are confusing the ARH program with the LUH program. The EH-145 (known in the US Army as the UH-72 Lakota) won the LUH program

You're right.  I do have my helicopter programs confused.  I still don't understand why the Army decided they needed two distinct helicopters, rather than using one multi-mission aircraft.

Yes, an EH-145 with 8 Hellfires would be über cool

Depending on how successful your armed Lakota will be the US Army may decide to procure an ARH-version of the Lakota!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

UPDATE.

the preperations for the build are almost complete, the kit is here and the weapons are found in the spares (from a revell 1/72 Agusta A-109KM)
all that i need to seach in the decal boxes for markings and serials

if thats done, the box will then be moved aside until the GB begins :)
