Yes! Many thanks to Alvis 3.1 for his generous donation of 1.5 F-15s.

Here is the first of many progress pics on my F-15F build.

Sorry to tease, but Lana's     almost finished tea! Mmmmm......

Will explain/detail more tomorrow.

Ok, so two things have changed: no Lana, and no cockpit.

A la Christophe, I'll paint the canopy rather than put in the originally-planned two-seat pit. Canards have been fitted - they certainly look unusual! - as have wings, canopy and hori stabs. And yes, for you fans of the novel, I am planning on a camera mounting between the vert stabs!

Just wondering if a nosecone will surface, or if I WILL end up going for the Concorde shnozz.....

JUST NOTICED: this build has recommenced after just over three years! Go me!

Food for thought here young hobbit, back when I did my 1/100 proto Cheetah I placed the mount for the dorsal camera pod half way btwn the verts and the paddle.

Great idea Bud! I'll do that, methinks.

I've gone for smaller canards purely because they're all I have.....and I need to rip into my sheet styrene to do the 2D nozzles...gear up, btw ;)

You can just make out the canards - these were scrounged from my old RNZAF Hawk build from a couple of years back.
