Rather than Luft 46 I thought it would be interesting to look at a world where France survived until 1941 . This would give an oportunity for US orders later diverted to the UK and elsewhere would have had time to arrive plus other aircraft may have made it off the drawing board and out of the factories or for new orders to be placed

for example Havocs would have been delivered

DB-7A / Havoc II
The French Purchasing Commission ordered a further 200 bombers, to be fitted with 1,600 hp (1,195 kW) Wright R-2600-A5B Double Cyclone engines. This variant was designated DB-7A by Douglas. None had been delivered before the fall of France, and they served instead as night-fighters with the RAF under the name of Havoc Mk II. They had an impressive top speed of 344 mph (550 km/h) at altitude. A total of 39 were used briefly in Turbinlite roles.

or the Helldiver made it to France

When the weather improved, sections of three aircraft were dispatched from Buffalo to Burlington, Vermont, then over the White Mountains (New Hampshire) to Augusta, Maine, and then to Houlton, Maine. After landing at Houlton, the aircraft were towed down a road across the Canadian border for takeoff from a New Brunswick farm pasture to avoid legal implications of flying over the border. The surviving 49 aircraft flew over the Bay of Fundy and were loaded aboard Béarn at Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. France surrendered while Béarn was crossing the Atlantic; so Béarn turned south to Martinique where the SBC-4s corroded in the humid Caribbean climate while waiting on a hillside near Fort-de-France.

NARSES2

Well in my alternate timeline after a protracted Battle of France, France fights on from it's colonies and manages to start up some indegionous aircraft production there. It also uses Canadian factories to produce some types but also recievs a lot of material from both British and US sources.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

with the "vive la france GB" as one of the leading contenders in the GB poll, i think this proposal can be merged

Maybe there would be more time to build more D.520's with higher horsepower HS engines, or perhaps Merlins or imported Allisons.

I rather like the idea of the US stuff that the French ordered actually getting delivered into the hands of the Vichy government. Havocs, Airacobras, Wildcats, etc.  I'd build possibly a Wildcat or an Airacobra but I don't do generally US aircraft and I hold no truck with collaborators.

I disagree with this suggestion. You can keep these two GBs because :

- "Vive la France" group built is for planes built in France, or in foreign countries, wearing the beautiful french roundel (for the whole French Air Force existence) (including Armée de l'Air 1941 context)
- "Armée de l'Air 1941" can be a lone group built, wher American planes, exotic projects or modified 1940-1941 planes saw service in the French Air Force contnuing the fight.

Maybe I have understand nothing at all and this suggestion must be forgot.

This GB proposal is intended to build any subject based on 'Made in France' producs or in french markings.
I honestly think that any Armée de l'Air 41 project can have room in Vive la France! GB. And in fact they will be very wellcome there.
