Up until recently I had a model that was working OK and was halfway through a patriotic raspberry riffle scheme when my eldest said "Dad it needs streamlining" 
Well I`ve PSR`d often and now got this:-

Cool and kinda puts me in mind of the1935 Auto-Union 'Rennlimousin'/'Rekordwagen' streamliner,

More work and a backstory

After Opel cancelled work on rocket cars the new jet engines caught his eye, and in America, Gotham citizen Dirk Knight, a millionaire playboy and philantropist, had been toying with land speed records and together they built this Knight`s second of three attempts at the record.

Thus the Knight Opel Blitz II was born, later known as the Mid Knight Lightning.

As explained in my other post I`ve had to cut these short and as this only need wheels to be sourced I`ve decided that minimal ground clearance is obligatory and the suspension lifts the body on engine start. Why do real cars do this anyway- it`s just somthing else to go wrong. Just give me a car with two buttons- fast and faster. Oh and I suppose some brakes might help  ;D
