I have a build of an Su-34 in progress that proposes that Mr. Sukhoi came to the US like Sikorsky, and ends up building similar aircraft to his Soviet designs, only for the US.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

So does this fit in as a F-111 replacement?

Maybe I should toy with that idea as a Canadian MiGs follow on...

I'm of different minds about the US Su-34. Perhaps the earlier Su-24 might have been an alternative to the F-111 for the USAF, or for the F-14 for the USN, and after repeated problems with the swing-wing designs Sukhoi comes up with the Su-27 and its derivatives.
Or maybe Sukhoi ends up working for Grumman, and his designs take the place of the Grummans we know.

Or another idea I had, which I'm keeping secret, takes a very different course for the US armed forces.
