First, it appeared elsewhere, the Apache Piranha...

Next a generic Israeli-modified T-55. Made into the Tiran 5, and equipped with a 105mm Bitish gun replacing the original Soviet 100mm.
ESCI 1/35th kit, modified by deepening the turret. Additions from the spares box, tissue, etc..
Paint....Tamiya Khaki with extensive washes and drybrushing.
Made about 20 years ago.

As before, from the ESCI kit, but this time with Blazer armour added. :tank:

Again using the ESCI 1/35th T-55, this time I added a 120mm gun from a crap ESCI Leopard II, together with running gear and tracks. The engine deck was raised and a grill added in the top from the same Leopard II. The idea was to upgrade ex-East German T-55s to serve in the re-unified German Army. The "scenario" included an "Eastern European Tour", as undertaken in the early '40s. Side skirts were scratch built.
Black Halfords Primer, Humbrol Acrylics brush painted, and lots of drybrushing.
I also created a twin-barrelled T-72 (with twin 100mm guns) as a demolition tank in German markings.

Nifty stuff Terry,

The various T-55s are certainly different to be sure.
