Looks like that comical Canadian thingy, the RCAF called a military plane. Looked more like a museum piece to me...

.....and so does a Spitfire, Lancaster, P-51, B-29, Me-109, Zero, Phantom etc. all of which ARE museum pieces....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Drown that man in maple syrup and bury him under a pile of moose dung!

And in defense of the Clunk, many consider it to be one of the finest all-weather fighters of its time. When other planes were grounded due to all sorts of crap, our lads were casually going about their work of keeping the Free World free.

;D

Nowadays any fighter is all weather

Small Q:did you use a Croy Lettering Machine to Create the Lettering??? just asking.

Lettering is laser printed on to Clear decal sheets and liberally sprayed with 'Crystal Clear' acrylic spray. I used a font I picked up off the 'net sonewhere RAF_PW_ATH. Sheet also includes a few 'Empire Test Pilot School' and 'Royal Navy' legends in various fonts. If anyone wants a copy, happy to oblige.

Maybe this aircraft was a failure >:( , but your model is a success

I have a soft spot for "failed aircraft."  Something about them being an attempt yet not successful makes them worthy underdogs, IMHO.

But yours looks too darn GOOD to be any sort of failure, Bungle.  10 out of 10.

But that was then, and this is now!

You can't criticise a 1950s design because it didn't incorporate ideas that weren't invented until 20 years afterward!  >:(

But is still looked un-sexy
