And to think they were built less than 40 miles from where I am now . . . Absolutely beautiful!  And why in the H**L didn't the US Navy follow through in OTL and buy a couple hundred of them?  It would have been great to have one in the AMC Museum here in Dover DE!

BTW, doesn't Anigrand have a kit of this beastie?

Thank you all for your kind words gentlemen, it makes it all worthwhile. The closing comment about the firebombers was to segue into another build, if I pick up another kit, if I get the courage to build it, if I don't go bonkers first, if I don't die, etc.  :blink:

Cool.  I just looked it up on their site, & now I need to convince She Who Must Be Obeyed  :banghead: :banghead:  (I foresee a 1970's MAC color scheme. . . Or something else . . .)
