Contacting Aeroclub?

Has anyone had problems contacting Aeroclub recently?

I've had an outstanding order with them for the 1/72 Shackleton AEW conversion for over a month, and not a sign of it so far. 2-3 weeks ago I phoned them and the guy who answered said they '...were waiting for a delivery of the resin wheels, and it's likely to be 10 days or so...'

Still nothing as of last Friday so I emailed them. Nothing....

Tried to phone them this morning, two instances of line busy and two of it ringing for ever with no reply...

hmm I did have an order from them go missing, but that looked more like a post office cock up rather than Aeroclub, I didnt have a problem with contacting them.

Id say just keep on at them (politely of course)

I got an email reply this morning which said they'd ship it 'asap'. Which of course means nothing at all in this context.......

The MR2/AEW2 conversion arrived this morning!

It's quite excellent, stuffed with good quality injection moulded parts, clear vacforms and cast metal bits, but the delay and lack of communication rather took the shine off it.

Now where DID I hide that Frog Shackleton.......?
