Merlin in action!

So, yet another day of sailing. Apart from the perfect weather (great wind, almost no clouds), i also got to see the town af Ærøskøbing, a European Union cultural heritage site. On the return trip i spotted a Cessna above the boat. My dad on the otherhand had his eyes fixed upon an object hovering out in the distance, which turned out to be a Merlin during an exercise with a naval vessel

Sorry to say, i was too amazed at the sight and sound of the EH-101 roaring overhead, as it made a low and very fast flight above our boat following the exercise, to take any photos of that

Lucky man. They sure are beautiful looking ( and sounding ! ) helicopters !
