Yes, the S-51 is niiiiiiiiiice!  I've seen one run at Oshkosh in 2000 and it sounded just like a mini-Merlin!

The Thunder Mustang is another totally slick bird!!!

I saw one back in the early '90s, save for the sound, i thought it was the real thing !

But my homebuilt will be an Amphibian, as we plan on buying land up north when Chateau Pomerleau here in town is paid off.......
