In Air Forces Monthly of this month, there is a photo in the accident reports section, showing a South Korean AF An-2 wreckage. It crashed on May 4th, on take-off for a training flight.

I did not know South Korea had An-2s? I can't find any photos of them either. Does anybody know more?

they have had a few defect from north of the border, that may be where it originaly came from.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

If you search airliners.net you can find Kamov KA32's in South Korean airforce colours.
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

When I was stationed in Korea back in 1987,I saw one of those AN-2s flying over us while we were doing some training and it was followed by a Huges 500 or 530 helicopter in ROK markings as well.
