OK people this is I suspect aimed at the more 'mature', and by that I am talking about years, of us.
I need to identify the kit that the spinner in this photo came from. The colour of the original plastic is the first clue. Second is the size, it was a three blader with the blades moulded in with the spinner, and to my eye it looks like it was from a 1/72 P-40.
My mind thinks that it may have been from the old Monogram P-40N, in almost 1/72 scale, but my memory says that was in a khaki/green plastic.
The only kit that I can remember in that colour of plastc, is the old HAWK 1/48 Lysander, and that just does not fit this spinner.
Matchbox maybe?
Can anyone help?

I would have guessed the Aurora P-40, but that would make it closer to 1/48. Matchbox would be a better guess if it's 1/72. They were definitely into colorful plastic.

The color sure looks like the old Matchbox Spitfire but wasn't that a 4 blader?

Definitely not the Monogram P-40 but could be something Revell?

Matchbox P-40M/N sounds right to me.... But I'm very, very old !

I agree it looks like a Matchbox colour, i have one in the loft ( P40 ) next time I'm up there I'll look.
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!
