A couple of mornings to scratch a beast like the EF132!  It take me a month to build a HobbyBoss kit!

Very nice model Pablo!

The basic components were shaped with a series of bench and rotary sanders during the course of 2 mornings but it took me more than a month to fit the engines, cockpit interior etc etc.  The pvc is a soft core type and is rubbed down pretty fast even with dry sandpaper.  It will need a lot of undercoat applications to seal off the exposed core.  Mossie, once you get sick of HobbyBoss you should try something like this.

Doc Yo

Its a beautiful build-one of my favorite Luft '46 subjects. ( And one of the more sensible, as well. ;D )
Welcome to Whif, Aldo!

Just got a mailing from Antares models. They have just released a EF-132 in 1/72

looks absolutly fantastic, why doesnt Revell make large Luft46 kits anymore, i would have loved to have an E.555

on the subject of this build, amazing.
but here's just a bit of mindplay, imagine that nose section on a 1/72 Vulcan kit  :o
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Aldo,

Fantastic work on the Ju EF132!

I too would like to see Revell make more of those Luft'46 kits again, but they should do a new line of 1/100 scale Luft'46 bombers. 1/100 scale would be big enough to capture some of the smaller details of the designs without taking up very much shelf space. I have a 1/72 scale Ju 290 kit but have not been in a rush to build it because I don't have a space big enough to display it right now, its a big airplane! When I looked at my kit after it arrived I was surprised at the size of it.

Whoops!  Sorry, Aldo!  I have always fancied scratchbuilding since I got back into the hobby, just it's taken longer than I thought it would to get my motivation & skill together.  I've got a whole list of things I'd like to get around to, hopefully some day.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Aldo,
Thanks for the info.  Is the Antares version mastered by your friend?
$90 for a large resin 72nd kit is fantastic but still outside my modeling budget and I have not yet made the jump to resin kits (me and super glue don't get along that well unless I am trying to glue my fingers together).

Would definitely have to do an operational Soviet version if I ever do get one.

Yes, it is.  I have his Ju488 and He277 models and they are fantastic.  His pricing is reasonable for such a limited run and I would get the EF132 and lots of debonder!  You can always use epoxy if your relation with superglue is a tempestuous one.  As for your budget, sorry cannot help you there although I must agree the prices of models have become disheartening.  No wonder the younger generation is losing interest in modelling.
