I have started three other new models and have been busy with them but have returned to the Me 262's and here are some in-progress snaps.

After looking at quite a few photographs of WWII aircraft over the years I noticed how roughly painted the bombs would appear sometimes, also some bombs showed some scuffs and scrapes on the paint and I thought why not try that on the bombs for the Me 262A-2a.
For contrast I chose to only weather one of the bombs and leave the other 'factory fresh'.


Oil paint was used to add weathering on the Me 262's, because of the gloss finish now on the models not much of the work I did is visible, that should change after the flat clear coat is sprayed on.
