Paul Lucas has just finished the masters for the 1/72nd Hawker P1109B AI radar Hunter conversion, and should be posting them to me after the bank holiday. Hopefully I can bring them along to Hendon next weekend for a sneak preview, and have them on sale about two weeks after that.

I'll happily take one set of your hands Colin!  :party:
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Does it come with the straight edge wings and Firestreaks Colin ?

Yes it does, and a small serial decal for XF378.

Thanks for that Colin, I wasn't sure what it was so had a look at Francis Mason's Hawker book and saw the in-flight photo of it, I think one will have to go on my shopping list.

There's a photo of the P.1109A too but it looks the same, the book just says it wasn't fitted for Firestreaks. Was there any other visual differences?

Another one to add to the shopping list.

You are right that P1109A and B are same, except A did not carry Firestreaks or their pylons. Having said one of the the P1109A (WW598) had a lot of colourful real schemes, including work on TSR-2 with a rare anti-flash scheme and I think its still flying in Lebanon today (coverted back to standard export Hunter as L280?)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The P1109B masters have not arrived yet, so probably won't have them on show at Hendon, but please come and say hello anyway. I'll do some deals on prices for SIG members at the show, plenty of British subjects on sale from my stand, including the Alicat decal and resin range (unfortunately not on the P1154 or Avro 720, as I haven't got any left!).

Here is a preview of the AI radar nose master in space, only one cut to the Revell forward fuselage (at panel line) is required, took me 10 minutes to test fit;

I will be sending it up to A2Zee in a few days for casting, hopefully will be available in around three weeks.
