Watered Down PVA Glue as Decal Fixative

Hey all

As I currently don't possess any Future, or any Humbrol fixy-stuffage, I was wondering if it was possible to use Watered Down PVA as a decal fixer. I've been told it's possible, but I don't want to try it and cock up my model - especially as it's almost finished, and I've taken a long time in building it.

Any tips, hints, or help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I've done that. Mainly to reaply Academy decals.

It's Academy decals I'm trying to fix. It works then, right?

I use it to apply decals on armour kits ,saves having to gloss coat, works a treat.
