SR, I would imagine Fast and Biplane don't often go together too well in the same sentence, really.  Fast is a relative term for a biplane.

Oh I dunno, 323 mph is plenty fast. Record set in 1941 by the DB601A engined FIAT CR 42B.

I had a passing notion to equip my Blordiator with a Hurricane Merlin, but thought against it. It would have looked like the pre-war biplane Fury on steroids.

323 mph ain't bad, but considering the top speeds of the monoplane fighters of the major powers under development at the same time (approaching, if not exceeding 400 mph) it still is behind the curve.

Of course, the biplane world's speed record is held by....ahem... *MY* twin-jet "Fairey Cuttlefish" torpedo-bomber at 501 mph

My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Biplanes arent really my 'thing' when it comes to modeling, but there's a lot of skill going into this, so I had to comment that it's looking great!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
