Well in that case, ion thrusters and inertial dampeners?  ;)

Hmm, definitely need inertial dampers, or E. E. Smith's "inertia-less drive".  Beyond that, a suitable propulsion system should be interesting.  I've a few outre' ideas if you're interested.
