I've got to ask...What on Earth is a Poffler VC-10!?

Very much worth getting the book, what about Red Barrel

But a Poffler.
Well the book explains that a Poffle was a small independant farm back in in the times when most farms were owned by the Lord of the land , and serfs payed to have a bit of land to farm.
A Poffler was therefore one who operated independantly.
Thus, the VC-10, armed with eight skybolt stand-off missiles would have been an independant operator.
Get the book, it realy is worth it.

I was thinking of doing one of the VC-10R  "Radar Calibration" aircraft (ie. SIGINT/ELINT). But I must admit the "Red Barrel" patrol interceptor is a cool idea. Not sure what I would use for the AAMs though, but I recon a loadout of Phoenix would be good.

I could sell you mine, I had plans on making a 1/72 scale one using it as an example but I don't think I'll get around to it anytime soon.  PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the info guys! I had a look through the stash and found one Geoff but it's started. Wings, nacelles and forward bulkhead are glued.

Good grief didn't realise the pic was so crap!
