My last project....
Prototype of Mikoyan SI-331-02 "Butterfly"....Like many known,this is MiG-17F,but vith "vee-tail".
In czech is "vee-tail" known like "Butterfly tail"..
.....still in work - promised "hot seat" and gun barrels...
Kit is 1:48 Směr (czech manufacturer).....

...but...this is only testing model..... I tested the natural metal finishing...Is not so good....I build models only 30 years.

mig-15 is one the best looking early jets, the v-tail just takes it over the top. can we get a pic from lower angle ? is that vertical stabs or two horizontal for the tail? whats that text below the canopy?

That looks great, and the finish really looks good; I like the panel shade variations and of course, the V tail.

I gotta admit, that's quite the wicked looking Butterfly Tail on a MiG Jet... very very nice indeed. Gives it a very different shape and a very different look. I may not like the intake, but the overall look with the butterfly gives it a very different feel.

To arkon: this is NOT MiG-15,thisis MiG-17F...and the text is "Butterfly" in russian...somebody of ground crew make this.Later was this name adoptet like "official"...

This is very nice....I admit I love v-tails.......so this really hits the sweet spot
