This aircraft is one of the oldest aircraft in the Cartel air wing, but by no means the least capable. The aircraft has been re-engined, and up gunned, and given the capability to fire IR seeker aam's. The fuselage has been given a complete overhaul, and has had a complete avionics upgrade.
The aircraft, is used for airfield defence, and helicopter/transport escort. Despite its age and obsolescence, this Mig has certainly caused a few headaches for the Honduras air force, by shooting down 4 of its Huey's and 1 of its A-37 Dragonflies.
