Brother Toad sent me the Minicraft Ventura II and my first thoughts are something along the lines of Ventellation,
the PV-1 that was converted to test the R-3350 engines and propeller system for the 049 Constellation.

I say "along the lines of" because the R-3350 cowling and propeller assemblies are from a Heller 1/72 Connie and while they evidently
aren't very accurate for an actual Connie, they'll do just fine for this Whif.  ;D
Also I'm going to endeavour to come up with a more attractive way of shortening the nose.

Currently I have absolutely no clue about possible role, colours or markings.

That short nose is just begging to be filled with machine guns or cannons.  Howzabout a cannon nose from the B-25 with the 75mm barrel?

This project took a very different path than anticipated (thanks to Caprica  ;D ) and will probably not be completed
on time because of my gallbladder crap (it gets yanked tomorrow).

Anyhow attached is a pic of the Hudson in a state of becoming a New Cap City Air Services inter-city transport.

That's looking super-cool.  Very svelte!

Good luck on the gall bladder thing!  Hopefully they'll take it out smoothly, and save the yanking for the dentist. . .
