Canadian HH-60D and Russian KA-58 :wacko:

Just a pair of whiffs i've done over the winter:

KA-58, the 1/72 Revell kit. Lot of PSR, especially on the canopy. I redid the framing slightly, see if you can notice:







And a 1/72 Fujimi HH-60D Night Hawk i threw together last saturday. I decided to add Canadian markings, coz they looked nice on that colour:



And alongside a pair of SH-60Bs (US Navy Italeri and Brazilian Hasegawa)





This is the 4th Black Hawk i've done, and so far i've yet to find a good kit. The Fujimi and Italeri kit have horrible fit on the clear parts. The Hasegawa kit was warped, and the clear parts scratched. The Italeri kit (both UH-60 and SH-60) has a horrible nose, and the Fujimi kit suffers a slightly warped nose as well. ext up, maybe the HobbyBoss kit?

Very nicely done on the helo's there 
I like the HH-60's especially, as I have a few suitably modified and uparmed in the build cabinet. The ones I built were a pain when it came to the glazing also, as they are both Hasegawa and Italeri kits. I converted mine to MH-60's with the night vision and terrain following radar, and the hardpoints carrying 4 Hellfires, 2 stingers, 25mm chain guns, a rocket pod and pintle mounted miniguns in the windows.
I have a couple of the Hobbyboss rescue Hawks to go at in the stash, hopefully they will go together a bit better

It's just a kit, out of the box Any old Kamov uses that rotor setup

I don't think rotors are such a big problem though. They are made from composites, and don't really have that large a surface, so radar signature should be rather low. Not much can be done though, even the RAH-66 had normal rotorblades
