Super Bomber Idea

Hey Guys, What If a 'Gerry Anderson' type were to Create a Super Bomber by Crossing a TU-22 with a B-58? think it would Work or Not?? Just an Idea that Spring into my Head just now.  I'm thinking it might be Interesting to Combine the Wings of a B-58 with the Body of a Blinder,What Say You??? Thanks for Looking.Dan

Now that's interesting: take just the B-58 wings and you've got a delta-Blinder, which is very credible. Alternatively, take the Hustler's wings and engines and with the Blinder's engines you've got a beast that could probably go fast enough to melt itself....

Another possibility would be to use the B-58 wing and engines, move the outer two onto the wing tips and remove the Blinder's original engines. That would give you a Tupolev bomber with the same configuration as the Myasishchev M-50 Bounder, as if a Mya design had been handed to Tupolev to productionise, in much the same way as was done with the Tu-160 Blackjack.
