I've just watched a prog on the 'Military' channel (Sky Channel 531) which was entitled 'Secret Superpower Aircraft'.

It was a hodge-podge of items including bits on the M-4 Bison, the WS-125 nuclear powered bomber, the USN's proposed use of the Neptune as a carrier based nuclear strike aircraft, but I've posted here because they had a bit on the TSR2 as well.

Apparently it was so far ahead of its time that the US were considering buying it, and it was powered by new 'secret turbofan engines', that were later used for the Concorde as they were so good.  :banghead:

Where DO they get their 'information from'?

But the best bit is the production programme who made the prog was called 'What If Productions'!!!!!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
