I always liked the old Chris Wren cartoons in Air International (don't seem to be on the web anywhere....).

For example: an aircraft buff in wooly hat and anorak is looking up at two closely-spaced contrails and is saying to his long-suffering girlfriend "well, it's either an F-4, an F-111, an F-14, an F-15, two Hawks or a Lightning flying on it's side....."  ;D
"Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot."

"I dunno, I'm making this up as I go."
 - Indiana Jones

Some good stuff.

I always liked the Calvin and Hobbes cartoons where they build models.  More truth than we would like to admit.
Several of them start here.

Hehe, I love those Calvin and Hobbes cartoons! Funny as hell.

;D Thanks. Maybe I should have put this topic in the egg-plane part of the forum, no?

Anyone else remember the "There I was...Flat on my back" cartoons by Bob Stevens?  I have a ton I collected from old Air Force magazines.  Always wanted to get his books.

Here are a couple I found.
