E.E. Lightning

I was In the good old U.k. for Easter and managed to sneak into the local Modelzone and picked up a Revell E.E. Lightning,
Which I proceded to put together (having had the foresight to pack some modelling tools), Now I've got this far



and I am now
puzzled if I want to turn it into an export version, how do I work out a suitable Mark Number for it?
from what I've read both the Saudi and Kuwait Lightnings where either F.53, F.53K (F.2 and F.6) or T.54 or T.55 none of which make a great deal of sense to me , can anybody help? is there in fact a system behind BAC (E.E.) export Mark Numbers?

The British mark numbering system has never been entirely straightforward, with different standards being applied at different times/to different projects. I would see it like this: the "export" models were given the prefix "5", so the F.2s exported to the Saudis became F.52s. Then the modified version of the F.6 they later bought followed on from the F.52 designation, ie F.53.  The Trainers were export T.4 and T.5 models, so they became T.54 and T.55. So the next available designation would be F.56, and so on.

Alternatively, you could give it another export "block number", for example 6x was used for some export Canberras, and export Hunters were in the 5x, 6x, 7x and 8x range. You could (instead of or in addition to the above) add a suffix letter for the country involved (as in F.53K for Kuwait).
