Very interesting. I like the wing tip tank idea but think the twin rudders are a little thick. I may steal the tank idea  :wacko:

Since you obviously like Shindens...

Here's a proposed TWIN-Shinden that I have cut plastic on (in the past), but is way on the back burner as far as builds go.

Love the work you're putting out here, Swanny - very impressive stuff indeed, and the whole concept is just impressive.  I've got a J7W2 in the stash, as I too am a fan of the Shinden - she's just got the beautiful lines and sleek look that just lives up to her name - Magnificent Lightning.
Putty-fu, Scratch-jutsu and Bash-chi, the sacred martial arts of the What-If. Mastering them, is Ancient Chinese Secret.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Mad Scientist and Ship-whiffer.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.
