Stabbed in the heart! (Or, I overreact about Tamiya cancelling my putty)

I love Tamiya epoxy sculpting putty, high density.

Love it.  I've used it on every model and figure I've built since I discovered the stuff a few years ago.  Now fortunately, it keeps for a good long while, and I figured out where I could get a ton, but it still makes me sad that I know this is now a finite supply.

*shakes fist at the heavens*

WHY TAMIYA?!?!?  WHY?!?!?!?!?

As a sidenote, can anyone suggest something that is similar?  My experience with Milliput so far has been...less than satisfactory.  I might be using the wrong grade, but I really want something that sets up like stiff clay and dries to the hardness of marble like my beloved high density putty.

Pretty much a matter of personal preference (I find them to be same-same), also check your hardware store, some of the general repair brands
of epoxy putty also work fine.

Tamiya was most likely just repackaging another manufacturers product anyhow.

There is a new sculpting clay call Amazing Sculpt on the market that doesn't contain sand like Apoxie. This give you finer detail without being heavy.

Hope this helps.
