How do I cast a clear part

I want to make a cast clear control panel for my J-10 so I can light it.

I have to wait at lease a month for rubber so I am using plasticine, but what do I use for the clear stuff? Anything hot will melt the plasticine.

Thoughts?

May I suggest you instead get a small sample pack of Smooth-On mold-making compound in a 1 to 1 mix ratio?  It will dry sufficiently overnight and you can use most of the clear resins (water replicating) out there.  Many hobby stores carry their products or equivalents in small package quantities.

Plasticine will often result in a foggy, pitted looking clear part.
