Apologies for the long delay in updates--I was focusing on the SSGB, and had to sideline this project for a short while.

Here she is with the first coat of sandable primer added.  More sanding, some more minor filling will follow.  But it's getting there.

Actually interesting!
But... let me one critical remark? To my mind, wing fences NOT PARALLEL to the airflow are more than implausible...

Harmonious indeed...

Here's the finished pics.  It has many flaws, but I'm OK with it.

1. The fences are trimmable in-flight.  This was to enhance basic stability, as this aircraft would never approach/exceed the speed of sound except perhaps in an uncontrolled dive.  The problems with low-speeds and boundary fences had not been thoroughly explored at the time this demonstrator was built.  But it was wildly unstable basically all the time.

2. The landing gear is entirely too short.  I may lengthen it out in the future, as anyone can see, this thing would smash it's prop into the ground on every landing.

I got under the gun on the build, with the Salt Lake show coming up, so I took some shortcuts.  It could've used another hour of sanding and scribing, but sometimes you just gotta cut the cord.  I'm not entirely displeased with the thing.  And the big plus is always seeing someone look at your model and scratch their heads.  I just wish there would've been a plain-jane Wildcat to park it next to.

I am kinda proud of my antenna wire.  That's the first time I ever got one of those damn things right.
