We loaded both types at Bruggen,the larger WE-177B & the smaller WE-177A.
In the cockpit the was two sets of switches,known as SWAC-3 (Special Weapon Arming Control mk3) one set in the pilots cockpit & the other in the navigators.These switches were locked in the off position with twist off copper seals & wire,old school I know but if it works.The seal on the tag has a code on it which must match the loading paperwork in the RAF Form 700.

the WE-177s I've seen at museums are all training rounds. I suspect the armed rounds are treated as nuclear waste - the case gets irradiated a bit over the years.
