I am wondering what colour I should paint the main air intake for some late 1950's to mid 1960's Jets.

Should I use White or a Natural Metal/Silver/Aluminium colour ??

Depends, the USN went to white intakes when they went onto the Lt Gull Grey/White colur scheme in the late fifties..... As a rule of thumb, I would go with NMF/aluminium intake if it's an NMF exterior.

Thanks Ian,

Going to be Dark Sea Gray/ Dark Green on the topsides and either High Speed Silver or Light Aircraft Gray on the underside as I am painting RAF machines.... or what would be RAF machines.

Got to check some dates to decide which of the underside colours I will be going with.
