Nice one!

I did something similar, a "Papal Air Force", a somewhat tongue-in-cheek, gold-plated version:



Yours is more "realistic". Yours looks like 1/48--mine is the old Delta kit of 1/72, plus a "Roman" figure painted in the garb of the Swiss Guard of the Vatican.
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!
