Best deal you ever got on a kit from a store

A few years back, a friend of mine found two mis-priced first issue Academy 1/32 FA-18s at the local Hobby Lobby. Supposedly $124.00, the pricing person accidentally left off the "1". Plus, they had a 50% off- no limit- coupon (this was maybe more than a few years back). So, 2 Academy 1/32 FA-18s for the princely sum of $12.00 each.

Since (IMHO) Hobby Lobby is to models what Wal-Mart is to other stores- a fundamentalist-religious-ideology based, free-market-loving chain giant that comes in and undercuts other local businesses, eventually forcing LHSs out of business- I couldn't fault him.

Best deal I ever got was two $5.00 Enterprise-Cs, from a shop that was blowing off stock.
