Hey Guys, What If the SR-71 Blackbird had used as the Basis for an Orbital or Near Orbital Bomber Design? it's something i've often wondered about because the SR-71 could fly so high! i'm not sure about purchasing a Model yet, but thought i'd toss the Idea to you guys & see what you think. OK? thanks for looking.Dan

You wouldn't even need to fill them with explosive.  The kinetic energy of a decent sized lump of concrete dropped from near orbital heights would make a nasty and large hole!

i prefer "THOR"    targeted hypersonic orbital round. from the renagade legion centurian game
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
