Lovely find Lenny!  A Revell Boeing SST might give you the basis for the fuselage shape, along with the engine pods.

excellent lenny!

i wonder if a set of engines and related pylons from a B-58 hustler would be any good, maybe in 1/48 scale.

the wingtip tanks are definately those coke bottle tanks from an F-5A or B again in 1/48.
