Got a RCN 1/48th CA-4B already built and finished, plus an A-4C in Honduran markings....well painted but just needing the final "push" for markings, weathering, stores.

A-4N(NATO) of course are musts...RAuxAF, Italy etc..

Something for Finland?

I like the idea of doing a bigger hump too

FAR EAST A-4s......version of your choice/kit availability, etc..

Nationalist China.....Medium grey over Light Grey, or Dark blue over light gey, or SEAsia type camouflage, or Tactical USM-type greys

:ar: South Vietnamese.....SEAsia type, with either grey undersurfaces, or later, as a wraparound.

Thailand....as for South Vietnam or in a multi-blue/grey wraparound scheme.

Philipines.....Dark Green wraparound, heavily weathered.

Pakistan.....Medium Green overall, or tactical greys, or all black!

A few to have thoughts about.

Not so much a user as a thought for an advanced version.  Reduce the sweep on the outer leading edge to where the tip is wide enough to securely mount a missile pylon, either a straight IR-AAM one (Sidewinder or equivalent) or one like the later F-16s ahve that can hold an AIM-120.

Not having a great grasp of aerodynamics... would you keep the slats, or a notched or dog toothed leading edge? I need the Ladybird book version please (thats aerodynamics 101 in American I think)

I'd probably go with inboard and outboard slats, with a small seapration, if needed, to make certain they didn't interfere with each other.  I'm a very firm believer in applying the KISS principle to design.

If you want to do a highly advanced, more agile variant...just add leafy roundels !

Perhaps a bit of kit-bashing by using the wings from an F-18 in the same scale or smaller scale to get the right size wing.  Simple surgery on the wing to get the Skyhawk wheel well and landing gear to fit the bottom of the Hornet wing should do the trick.
