Just finished this one yesterday, this is the old 1962 kit of the Monogram Zero. The model was built O.O.B. the only change made was the decals which were replaced with those from my spares box, the kits decals were way too old to even think about using. The model was put in the markings of a Zero based at Atsugi airbase in 1945.

Nice photos, I think those rivets are more realistic than a few lines of incised panel.I like this model, and your work is flawless as always

Thanks to all for the kind words!

Now that this model is finished I have started on a what-if...a wheeled thingie and NOT an airplane.

I have also built this kit and it makes up into a fine example of the Zero, typical model of its era but went together well I am sure. In fact I am certain the remains are in a box in my parents loft (reserve model stash) and I think they may be salvagable, mmmm a challenge? lol, nice pics.
cheers

Outstanding!! ;D

Agreed.  The work is indeed excellent, but the photography of the finished item is superb, unparallelled, magnificent.........(searches for thesaurus to find other superlatives...)   It's the monochrome shots that really do it!
