Another pair of nice pics:

Note:  Bigger versions of these may be found here and here.

Those illustrations show heavy frames on the canopy where in reality it is actually just a seam where the plastic canopy parts meet.
Based on the pics of the Planet Model canopies it appears that Planet have also overemphasized the seams.

Hmm, looks like a good model of a lovely aircraft, I personally hope they will realeas a kit in 1/72.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hmmm, imagine this machine with a Rateau turbojet or, even better... a LEDUC RAMJET!!!!!

:wub:

This machine just scream "speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed" .
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

My ideas (so far):

  • Standard real world;
  • Fighter - possibly in flying diorama on the tail of a Bf-109;
  • Floatplane racer;
  • Turboprop conversion;
  • Turbojet conversion; and
  • Captured version in Luftwaffe colours.

Hence why i must simply have a number of these kits.

Greg

Slick design!  Not to mention way more beautiful than that Bugatti Veyron (which to me looks like a luxury car they tried to streamline into a high-tech sports-car although it is an excellent performer)...

BTW:  I still prefer my motorcycle... (almost as fast, cheaper, a great deal more agile, slightly better acceleration, more fuel-efficient)

That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.

One has nothing to do with the other, as, aside from the name and the horseshoe grille, the modern Bugatti company has nothing to do with Bugatti from Molsheim. That company (after being owned by Hispano-Suiza and Snecma) eventually became Messier-Bugatti, and they don't make cars.

Bugatti SAS, parent of the Veyron, is a division of Volkswagen AG. The car was designed by the head designer of VW AG's Skoda division.

I don't know how a modern Bugatti designed by the spiritual heirs of Ettore would appear, but I don't think it would look like the Veyron.
