My PC is up and running again.  :drink: Here are some profiles for F-15 Eagles of the French Air Force. This is just the first quartet. There'll be lots more! And not just fighters....

First up is an F-15A of EC 1/12 Cambrésis from 1978.

Next up an F-15A of EET 5/330 "Côte d'Argent" in Tigermeet markings.

The following two are participants of Operation Daguet, the French effort in the 1991 Gulf War.
The very fast Super 530Ds AAMs enjoyed some successes against Iraqi MiG-25s.

Those have to be the most colourful F15's I've ever seen JASDF ones included. Nice pics Moritz

Very nice F-15, they look quite possible.

But I have a little problem... with your Cambresis' F-15A. On your tail, it's not the SPA 89 "Guêpe" that must be figured. It's the SPA 126 "Tête de Tigre".

However I really like your F-15s (they give me some ideas :) )

Thanks, guys!

Lance, if you want to see some even more colourful Eagles, have a look at my profile thread (CLICKY!). Colourful as in special markings (Belgian and Canadian Tigermeet schemes) and colourful as in "anything-but-grey" (), such as Iranians, USN hi-viz, USAF SEA-camo,...

Slerski, I know about the tails. The profile I had as a source was of the port side of a Mirage F.1. So I used that side and just flipped it. And I wanted to have the wasp on the tail, as I had planned for the tiger's head to be on the Tigermeet bird. Incidentally, the tiger's head is also on the wrong side. It was only carried on the port side. The starboard side had black tiger stripes on a yellow fin only. Thought that would've been boring.

Moritz

Love these Moritz! Wow! I like the rounded upturned demarcation line on the last two
