I will be building a New Amsterdam Air Militia fighter, pitted against the British (Canada and the Great Lakes) and French (Southern) empires in North America.

This Frog kit was acquired from a fellow forumite a few months back, and looks pretty nice and simple. Slight problem upon beginning construction - no engine! :o I have bodged a solution by stealing the engine part from a Revell Bearcat, which has the correct number of cylinders and is about the right size. The following pics show the kit, the engine bit and current status.

For markings and colours, I'm thinking a temperate camo (green, brown and grey) and orange squares (Dutch East Indies had triangles, so I think the West Indies would have squares! ) Maybe a couple of kill markings too.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<
