Thanks Redstar, those are very helpful!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Selection of Do-28/228  ideas prompted by, but not all eligible for, the Englies More Or Less GB.

This group came from thinking that Dornier should be true to their heritage and use push-pull engines. The first layout uses a standard fuselage with the engines near the middle, the second uses longer forward and shorter rear fuselage sections to enable the engine to be moved further back, thus reducing cabin noise. The rear prop is behind the cabin and the front one is over the wing box, i.e. the thickest part of the roof.

This is a Do-28D modified in similar fashion to a Trislander, but keeping a pair of pylon-mounted engines at the rear, together with a stretched forward fuselage (possibly not stretched enough:

This applies the last idea to a Do-228. it has a double-length fuselage with two turboprops at the nose and two on the fin. It would need longer undercarriage, but the advantage is that it keeps prop noise well away from the passengers:

So long as they change the shape of the wings and fuselage they con do anything to it! It's got to be THE ugliest modern day aeroplane ever!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
